I learnt a hard lesson.Bought for R2.00 and sold at R9.00 and then went back to buy at R5.00. :haaa: I should have closed the book and walked away.

They're still suspended on the JSE board, in business rescue.. R4.04 was the last quoted price..
The listing still shows on the platform, but I may have missed something along the line?
As far as I know, unless they liquidated, you should retain unlisted shares in your personal capacity, or receive a buyout offer.

Can anyone here tell my why you would have invested in Tongaat or Ellie’s. I am newish to investing. doing minimal research led me categorise both these companies as a disaster. Are you speculating? What am I missing here?

What do you people think when you invest? You think is all win and there's no negative effect? This is the same as trading you can make 100%+ profit and you can make 100% lose. There are 100% chances especially to those who don't do any information who just invest for the sake of investing
