Cyclist Killed by Taxi in Prestbury

Earlier this morning, just after 7am, Mi7 National Group's Emergency Medical Services was dispatched after reports of a Motor Vehicle Accident on Morcom Road in Prestbury.

Mi7 medics found that a taxi had crashed into a cyclist. Teams worked quickly to assess the male patient, but unfortunately he had already succumbed to his injuries. The patient was declared deceased on scene.

The matter was handed over to the police for further investigation.
