A woman was shot dead at a petrol station on O’Flaherty Road in the Sydenham area, Durban, early on Tuesday morning

According to reports,A red VW stopped Infront of the garage while she was waiting,a man got out and shot her multiple times before getting back in the car and it drove off.

The victim was using an ATM in the Sasol Garage.

The woman is allegedly in management at the department health.

Spokesperson Garrith Jamieson said paramedics arrived on the scene to find that a woman had sustained multiple gunshot wounds to her upper body and unfortunately she had already died.

"She was declared deceased on the scene by paramedics.
SAPS were in attendance and will be investigating further."
