The woman who accused The Wife actor Sipho Ndlovu of assaulting her, Thandeka Mhlanga, has been arrested

According to Zimoja, Thandeka Mhlanga, aged 33 and originally from Ntuzuma in KwaZulu Natal but currently residing in Fourways, alleged that the actor assaulted her when she discovered him with another woman.

In a twist of events, Sipho Ndlovu has filed three cases against Thandeka at the Douglasdale Police Station and she is currently in police custody, set to appear in court tomorrow.

Thandeka had accused Sipho of hitting her and then closing a gate on her on Saturday night.
However, Sipho, speaking to Zimoja, vehemently denied the assault allegations, suggesting that Thandeka was expressing resentment after their relationship ended. Initially, Thandeka had claimed to have filed an assault charge against Sipho and was awaiting the case number from the Cosmo Police Station.

Sipho Ndlovu has stated that he has evidence to prove his innocence. He asserts that he has never laid hands on a woman and describes Thandeka as a scorned woman who initiated a confrontation with him after their relationship ended.

According to Sipho, Thandeka threatened to ruin his public image, prompting him to take steps to protect his reputation as an artist.

Despite not wanting the situation to escalate, Sipho views this as an opportunity to demonstrate his innocence.

He also issues a warning to women who seek to tarnish the reputation of men after the end of a relationship.
