Passenger Killed and Driver Injured In Shooting Incident in Sandfields - KZN

A passenger in a vehicle was killed and the driver injured in a shooting incident in Sandfields - KZN yesterday afternoon (Monday).

Residents contacted the Reaction Unit South Africa (RUSA) Tongaat Operations Centre at approximately 20:27 requesting assistance.

Reaction Officers were immediately dispatched and on arrival were informed that the driver of the bullet riddled silver Hyundai Tucson was shot and had been expedited privately to a medical facility.

The extent of his injuries could not be confirmed. A passenger in the vehicle was shot multiple times and demised on scene.
