Business Robbery at Spar Supermarket in Verulam - KZN

No injuries were reported following a robbery at Spar on Wick Street in the Verulam CBD - KZN this morning (Saturday).

Members of Reaction Unit South Africa (RUSA) arrived on scene at approximately 07:17 and met with an employee.

He explained that two armed suspects confronted and robbed him of an undisclosed amount of cash before they fled on foot to a parking lot situated at the rear of the premises.

The suspects were seen speeding off in a white vehicle (make, model and registration unknown).

Reaction Officers conducted an extensive search for the suspects but no arrests were made.
