CIT Robbery outside Phomolong High School in Tembisa

3 hospitalized following an attempted CIT robbery in Phomolong Section Thembisa.





Two security officers and one male passerby were shot and injured during an attempted CIT robbery in Phomolong Section Thembisa.

All 3 injured people were taken to nearby Health facilities.

The two security officers who got shot were the CIT van occupants,The driver was not harmed as he corperated with robbers.

This incident happened on Wednesday Morning (Today) on SM Songo Avenue near Phomolong Secondary School.

Some Phomolong Secondary school learners were taken to nearby Health facilities for assessment as they were in shock.

The heavily armed robbers failed to take the cash that they were targeting from the CIT Van which was enroute to load cash into an ATM.

Rabie Ridge SAPS members responded swiftly to the scene, SAPS Explosive Units were also called called to the scene together with Ekurhuleni Flying squad Units.
