28 Year Old Jobseeker Raped in Redcliffe - KZN

A 28-year-old jobseeker was raped in Redcliffe – KZN Thursday.

Members of Reaction Unit South Africa (RUSA) were called out to a General Dealer in Redcliffe - KZN at approximately 14:43.

On arrival, the victim informed RUSA Members that she was seeking employment in the area. A unknown male confronted her, produced a knife and forced her into a bush where he raped her.

He threatened to murder her if she called out for assistance. The suspect then stole her handbag containing R400 in cash and her Itel cellphone. He thereafter fled in an unknown direction.

Reaction Officers conducted an extensive search for the suspect, but he remains at large.
