It's fine to choose a car nobody talks about and nobody will talk about it. It will be your choice.

But from the cars point of view it is more competitive to buy it if you plan to keep it and you must have another car in case it is in for repairs cos I hear it takes longer to get spares and fixed.

I will choose a VW as it is a tried and tested, has more after sale support and spare distribution is country wide, as with workshops for repairs.

That's why its Important to have at least a cheap Motor Warranty plan in case of a break down :wrench:

Kona-N, that's a car and half, better than most in the VW line.

I love it. Not many on the road. It's quick. Built for the track, has LSD and has a great warranty.

Very valid question. It's mechanicaly identical to the I30N, same performance and exactly the same price. And to me it's a much better looking car. I'll buy it anytime if I was in the market for such a car.

Me personally... The more expensive the car gets, the higher the maintenance. I understand the service plan you buy, ext... But lets have a look after the 5years. Its true, people buy the badge. Its a statement thing. As i said, me personally, if i have 800k and enough money for maintenance, to stand out, i would rather go for a 2nd hand gtr. Much more bang for youre money

Make sure you have maintenance plan and you take care of the car and it will take care of you and your pocket VW is overrated and expensive

Until it breaks you'll realise why the gtis are all over and this one overlooked.....bad resell value....ask Megane RS about a GTI in terms of preference

This is a beast . People don't talk about it because it is expensive and if you don't mind buying parts from it's origin then you can go for it . I would also buy this cause it's unique and competing with these other vruphas

I was just talking about it a few days ago
My guy this is a beast I'll choose it every day, more especially the kona N series nna I think vw is over rated there are many car brands that are more better and reliable than vw but at the end of the day it's about a personal choice

Maybe because it costs just as much but the interior feels cheap and plasticky.

Just wondering how long before the paint peel off. My huyndai on 8 years. My golf 4 tdi was 20 years old and the paint still look like new. Never buy a Huyndai. R4000 for abs/wheelspeed sensor

I've been a GTi fan all my life until I drove this beast. Yes it may not been a German vehicle yes it maybe plasticky (not where near cheap interior) this car is by far more technological advances an not as common as a GTi. It comes standard with every option extra you can think off.
Google GTI killer an see what comes up.

It could conceivably last longer- a lot longer as the others will possibly be stolen before your 1st payment is due

Buy the Mazda, there will be no need for any parts and, you can comfortably drive all over Africa.

If you get one you'll be getting the last ones on stock as it has been discontinued internationally. The golf will still be around, so you'll get another chance to get a brand new one in future.

I wish I can say something here I owned both of these brands many of the B segment and C segment, both good cars has its own uniqueness.

Honestly Hyundai don't underestimate it special those N sport, my first Elentra 1.8 RXI was not just taking chances.

But I'm am still a big fan of VW that stick on the road like glue with it's specialist racing capability. In short respect each other bro

I would buy it. Comes fully kitted where others are add on options. Lower risk of being stolen or hijacked. Only issue I have if you keep the vehicle after the warranty, parts are expensive.
