Drunk man unconscious in his vehicle after collision in Oudtshoorn

A man in a white double cabin bakkie, who is said to be under the influence of drink, is currently lying unconscious in his vehicle in Hoogstraat on Oudtshoorn, Friday afternoon 8 December. Neither the police, traffic services nor emergency service personnel were able to extricate him from his vehicle. He does not respond to their efforts. The vehicle is locked from the inside. He collided with at least one vehicle.

Follow-up - Alleged drunk driver finally removed from vehicle
The alleged drunk driver who went on a rampage moments ago in Hoogstraat on Oudtshoorn, and who locked himself in his vehicle before he became unconscious, was finally removed from the vehicle and arrested.

Further information about the incident is still scarce. A window of the vehicle had to be broken so that police officers could remove the man.
